As President and CEO for Birwood Services Group, Ken has extensive experience in employee benefits, risk management, human capital services and operating business models. Having owned and operated various businesses with up to 200 employees within the IT and automotive engineering community, he brings a valuable perspective, knowledge base and complementary skill set that helps him design appropriate solutions for clients’ highly complex insurance and risk needs.
Ken is passionate about helping clients meet their diversity goals, and he is well-versed in matters related to minority business enterprise (MBE) certification and governance. He holds a B.S. in engineering and industry from Michigan State University and has designations as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and as a Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC).
